We are located inside Aston Ka’anapali Shores, roughly across the street from the Times Market shopping center, about 10 minutes north of our previous location. If you know where Java Jazz is (a local reference), we’re straight towards the ocean from that.
Our address is 3445 Lower Honoapiilani Road.
Once you park (parking is free) you can walk through the lobby, and proceed out the back of the building towards the pool. Stay to your right. Pass the canoe… and we’ll be on your right hand side by the pool.
We are currently open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from 11:00 to 6:00.
To meet us on other days or times, please call or text Jason on his cell:
808-283-4792. We’d love to arrange a meeting time.
Our new location is much smaller, but filled with the same love and aloha you’ve experienced in the past at Lahaina Music.
What we have:
We currently sell and rent ukuleles, and we rent guitars (but do not have any to sell at this time). We can do minor repairs like string changes and action adjustments. We have strings and some accessories, though we don’t currently have the space to carry the full line of things we had before, and we no longer have a full repair bench. Call us at 808-661-7625 during our business hours to see if we have the item you need.
Do we teach?
We focus a lot on teaching. We have free lessons in the lobby at Ka’anapali Shores on Tuesdays at 9:00am, and on Fridays at 10:00am. Ukuleles are provided, or bring your own if you’ve got one! You can visit the store afterwards if you’d like to see more. Or just stroll into the store and whoever is there will probably teach you a lot about ukulele!
How to help in our community:
If you’d like to support our efforts in raising hope, joy, and aloha to the people of Lahaina displaced by the fires, please visit https://www.kanikapilaproject.org
It is a wonderful organization which has partnered with us in our efforts to get ukuleles into the hands of those who could really use them in these trying times. At the time of this writing, we’ve provided (and been provided) about 450 ukuleles in this effort, and we continue to provide free kanikapila-style ukulele lessons/jams in multiple locations weekly to those affected by the fires.
How to help the Jerome Ohana more directly:
We do still have our Jerome Ohana gofundme up (in case you’d like to make a contribution in helping us move forward, as we continue to turn our attention to helping those around us) at https://gofund.me/8323a782 .
We are looking forward to helping you soon!
Aloha,
Lahaina Music
